President Obama skirted Congress and signed an executive order to increase the minimum wage for Federal contractors to $10.10 per hour. The problem? This plan could cost 500,000 jobs.

The increase is too steep and businesses simply cannot afford the added cost, so many people who need the job will lose valuable income. Businesses may be forced to close.
